So we all have them. That moment when it's our time to shine. Growth and opportunity...the interview! Its here and now you are wondering what to wear. Are you ready?
WHAT TO WEAR???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Well, we know it depends on the type of of interview you are rolling in to. For example, if I was going to an interview as a fashion stylist, I would wear the latest trend with bling and glitz.
However, if I was going into to an interview for a Procurement Supervisor well...honestly... I'd still go in all glitz up. Hahaha. No seriously, I'd opt for the good ole protocol colors of navy blue, gray, and black.
Did you know that when we see certain colors it produces a chemical reaction in our brain? Ever heard if someone waiting in the "Green Room?" Green is considered to give calming effects whereas colors like pink give you sense of tiredness while red they say makes you hungry?? Not sure about that one because I hardly wear red yet I'm always hungry! Then there is blue. Not only is blue the most popular color to wear to an interview, it makes the wearer seem smart and trustworthy. Lets hope that it is a true reflection of the wearer, yikes. Color psychology is a thing you know. Are you ready for you next interview? Check it out some looks!
Remember, study the job you are shooting for and dress accordingly. Another factor I use to decide what to wear is what the CEO or Manager wears. Lets hope they have it together. Dress for the position you see yourself in the future. If you are in retail, be a brand ambassador for the company. If you are in a work casual environment, dress accordingly and etc.
Blue-Trustworthy, Smart
Black and Dark Gray- Conservative, Authority, Power
Light Gray and Soft Shades-Approachable, Social Brown-(For Women )Down to earth, for men old fashioned, lol
